Orders
An existing prescription is not required when using our service as our fully accredited and qualified UK prescribers can remotely screen and assess your suitability for treatment.
Provided that the prescriber is satisfied that the treatment is appropriate, the order will be approved, and a free private prescription issued for dispensing from our regulated pharmacy partner.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept any existing NHS or private prescriptions.
Our affordable and competitive all-inclusive pricing policy does however include the cost of issuing a private prescription. The price you see for a treatment is the price that you pay, there are no hidden fees.
To find a specific product, you can simply use the search function on the homepage.
You can also search for medications via the full list of treatments we offer and conditions we help treat.
Our services have been designed to be convenient, accessible, and simple to use and our website is user-friendly and easy to navigate to help eliminate any confusion or difficulty when placing an order. What’s more, we are always online so you can order your treatment at a time and place that suits you and your life.
Once you have found the relevant page for the treatment you require, you can click through to commence a straightforward medical questionnaire.
Our consultation questionnaire is easy to understand and consists of simple questions regarding your general health and the specific condition selected. Questions are similar to those you would be asked during a GP appointment and should only take about five minutes to complete.
When the questionnaire has been completed, you can add your chosen treatment to your basket and complete our secure checkout process.
If you still need some help, simply call us on 07352 330581 or email us at info@prescriptionpad.co.uk and we’ll be happy to advise.
If you are unable to find the product that you require using the search function it is likely that we do not prescribe that specific product, although in some cases, a product may simply be temporarily out of stock.
We are always looking to improve and expand our service so if you can’t find a specific treatment, please do not hesitate to contact us as we may still be able to help.
We also offer a Repeat Supply Service which enables patients to receive a maintenance or continuation supply of a specific product or treatment provided that they have previously been prescribed the item by their regular GP.
Unfortunately, we do not prescribe treatments for anyone under the age of 18 and we cannot accept orders placed on behalf of someone else.
Consultations for prescription medication must be completed by the patient. This is required for us to operate safely and legally.
Pharmacy medicines can be ordered for others such as family members, however, where possible we encourage the consultation process to be completed by the patient.
Our prescribers normally work from 9am to 5:30pm on weekdays. During these working hours, a prescriber is usually able to assess your suitability for treatment within two hours. Generally, they are much quicker, but the process can take longer during busy periods.
Orders placed outside of these hours will usually be reviewed on the next working day.
Delays with your order can occur for a number of reasons, such as a prescriber query, our system requiring an identity check from you, or delays with the shipping service.
Please check your order status within your account and feel free to contact our team if you require further information
You can check the status of your order at any time by logging into your account and viewing ‘Orders‘.
You will also be kept up to date with the progress of your order via email.
Upon placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. We will also email you when we have despatched your order; we normally aim to do this on the same day if your order has been placed before the cut-off time.
The order status tells you at which stage your order is currently at.
Processing – means that your consultation is being screened and reviewed for suitability by a prescriber.
On-hold – means that the prescriber requires additional information before they can approve your order.
Cancelled – means that your order has been refused. This is usually for a clinical reason and further details will be provided.
Shipped – means that your order has successfully been dispensed, packaged, and posted out from our regulated pharmacy partner using your chosen delivery method.
If your order has been declined this is usually because there is a clinical reason where our prescribers feel that the treatment would be unsuitable for you.
If the prescriber has any additional questions or concerns, they will contact you directly for clarification.
In the event that your order is refused, you will be informed of the reason and given referral advice on where to seek treatment if required. You will also receive a full refund.
All prescribing decisions are final and cannot be challenged.
Our telephone line is designed for customer service purposes only and is not an option for placing an order.
We do not accept payment over the phone and all orders must be completed and paid for online via our secure payment gateway.
If, however, you are having difficulty placing an order online, please contact us via email at info@prescriptionpad.co.uk or call us on 07352 330581 to speak to a representative who can help you with the process.
Yes. Certain treatments are available for repeat order.
Provided that your circumstances have not changed since your last order, the process is much quicker than the initial consultation.
You can order a repeat supply by logging into your account and selecting the treatment you require.
